EDEN

Studio Sessions

Eden and her husband moved to South Wales after they fell in love with the city - nature balance this area provides.

Eden loves long-term travelling as it allows her to get to know the local people, foods and beautiful sights. She enjoys working out, hiking, taking her dog for walks, being in nature, trying new places to eat, going for a beer, and practising meditation and breathwork.

Why do you teach Yoga?

Yoga has given me the tools to keep myself feeling balanced, clear minded, and connected to myself. I decided to teach yoga to help support others to find their true sense of self and to have the tools they need to handle life better.

Describe your teaching style

I have trained as a breath coach as well as completing my yoga teacher training, and my classes have a focus on practising and connecting with the breath.

My yoga style tends to be slow and strong giving you the time to settle into a posture. When explaining postures, I like to encourage students to focus on where they feel the body is working, and my teaching style focuses on how you feel rather than how you look.

My teaching is more hands off, allowing you to find a comfortable position, and I’ll only adjust a student to prevent injury or to help them get more from a posture.

If you were a yoga pose, what would you be?

It’s got to be a Firefly - because it’s one of my favourite poses! Firefly, to me, represents strength, playfulness, lightness, flexibility, focus, balance, adaptability, resilience and openness.
